Meeting called to order at 9:00 a.m.
The meeting was held in Kenyon. I watched the video recording. The meeting agenda was posted and it took up most of the screen. The commissioners were displayed in a box that was one inch by two inches in size. The commissioners were 5 little dots, so it was hard to know who was speaking and the conversation was very hard to hear.
All commissioners were present.
The pledge was pledged. The previous board minutes were approved. The agenda was approved. The consent items were approved.
A report was given by Lucas Dahling, Finance Director, reviewing first quarter 2026 financials. There was some discussion about the Law Library Fund and about payouts for people leaving the county’s employment.
Lucas also read a letter, announcing that Micki Otto had received a statewide Excellence in Elections Award from the Office of the Secretary of State. A really big deal!
A project status report was displayed, no questions or comments.
It’s National Detention Deputy Recognition Week, well last week was. Our deputies are great.
Chuck, sorry I couldn’t get last name, is being included in the North Central Region of National Association of County Ag Agents Hall of Fame.
The bills were paid.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:30.
